Excellent studio for sure but also very similar to Obsidian (Pillars of Eternity, Tyranny) and Inxile (Torment).

What Xbox needs is Action-Adventures (aside from the already mentioned JRPGs and Fighters). Sony is pretty dominant here (Uncharted, The Last of Us, Spider-Man, Horizon, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima). Crystal Dynamics would be ideal or Remedy....

That's exactly what I was thinking! I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Crystal Dynamics gets purchased by Microsoft when Perfect Dark releases and gets merged into The Initiative. Suddenly, they're not scrounging for developers as they'll have an entire team that loves making Action-Adventure games.

Knowing Swen it is going  to be hard to convince them after how they were almost finished before. Sadly EA holds the Ultima license because he is literally an Ultima fanboy.

It’s from February 2021 so This game is likely already 1 year in development. That’s 3 AAA games under XGS that we know about so far.

Looking at Certain Affinity's work, I'm honestly a bit nervous about their take on a Battle Royale for Infinite because the 2 biggest projects they've worked on is Halo 4's multiplayer and DOOM 2016 multiplayer, and I did not like either experience. Too CoD and not enough of what made those 2 games multiplayer experiences great.

Finished the Warth of the Druids DLC for AC Valhalla.
Not utterly amazing but definitely a step up from the main story arcs.

Absolutely insane.

Will be made even more insane when Activision-Blizzard gets their studios off CoD.

Microsoft absolutely can't do one event per year anymore, it would be stupid, it would hurt certain games, there's just too much, 2023 they need 4 events per year at a minimum at this rate.

MS gonna double down and only do one show per year, but cut the length in half
