Bleeding Edge not having much marketing is most likely because of game pass. It's a small title so why waste resources, I bet there's a huge number of people who played it already.

They will support and add content for sure, even if it's just smaller updates.

edit. " Steam player count is around 2 players per day already which doesn't sound good "

Where did you get that from derbysquirtle? 477 people currently playing on Steam.

Steam isn’t a accurate representation I’d say. Game Pass on PC is only $5 per month. Game Pass should keep this game alive for its first 2 months.
Long term I don’t see this game lasting unless it has maps and characters asap

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

I'm curious do we have a list of new IPs from Microsoft this gen?

I'm not even sure what counts and what doesn't.

ReCore
Sunset Overdrive
Ori
Cuphead
Bleeding Edge
Quantum Break
Grounded
Ryse: Son of Rome
Crimson Dragon
Sea of Thieves
Tell Me Why

If you only count IP's that belong to MS, then Sunset Overdrive, Cuphead and Ryse don't belong in that list.

Other new IP's that belong to MS.

Project Spark

The Outer Worlds

Everwild

I don't know if we should count Spin-offs like Gears Tactics, MC Dungeons, MC Story mode.

Thank you for the information. I wasn't sure about some of them. The Outer Worlds! I didn't think of that. It might be their biggest new IP. Especially if the sequel is console exclusive to Xbox Series X. Everwild could be another big hit.

I would love an Outer Worlds that takes full advantage of the SeX.

Where the hell is my DLC obsidian!?!

I enjoyed The Outer Worlds. It was just a lot shorter than I was expecting. It felt like the ending came out of nowhere.

Yeah, it actually was my GOTY this year and it was too short. Thankfully I got it on gamepass.

I'm pretty willing to fork out for DLC though. We were told it was going to come out at the start of 2020.

It's April fools in a day! Is that their plan?

I'd be all for post main story DLC. I have a feeling the sequel will be larger and have variety in locations. By the end of the first game I was kicking everyone's butt as I was level 30.

Yeah, you just find a good weapon with a decent base level, upgrade it like mad because after level 5 money isn't an issue and own everything.

I got all the cheevos and I found... whatever the hardest difficulty was called to also be a walk in the park after a certain point.

I wouldn't mind the difficulty being harder next time around too, at least at the higher options.

I didn't get all the achievements, which means in the future I could give the game another playthrough when the DLC comes out. I've never played a Fallout game, so I wasn't sure what to expect.

I came into it without playing any fallout either.

I should give them a shot... Well, not 76...

Fallout 3 or 4.

Yeah, I have no idea what is going on with Outer Worlds DLC. It was clearly planned at some point, there are inaccessible locations on the space fast travel map. Starting to think they cancelled the DLC in favor of a sequel.

Don't say that!

Yeah, maybe...

Have I missed something? Or has Microsoft not announced Games with Gold for April yet?

Fable 4 (hopefully rumor is true and we aren't disappointed)

I like Fable, but I would not be disappointed if they were working on a new IP.

I do think it's important for them to make Fable, many people have fond memories of the golden Fable days, well not me because i never had an xbox but reviving Fable might bring some of their older consumers that went with PS4 this gen back to the box.
