Was at a Best buy today and overheard a Gen X customer wanting to get an Xbox. The employee told him they were out of X's and only had S's. Xer asked what the difference was and the employee said "it's basically the digital version" and no other information.

I cringed.

Good lord xD if they had just looked at the price of both consoles, they would've known it was much more of a difference than a disc tray!

It reminds me of when I was at Fry's a couple years ago and I saw this 42 or 48 inch Samsung monitor on display playing a racing game demo, and I asked the Fry's employee what the aspect ratio was because I knew it was a lot bigger than 21:9. He thought about it for a sec and with a straight face said, 16:9..........I just said "okay" and walked away lol. RIP Fry's.

I should've pulled a Ron Swanson and when the employee came up to me asking if I needed help, I should've replied with "I know more than you"

It's been 20 years since I played that... Plus I never finished it as I got bored with the middle bit.

Maybe I'll pick up the books some time. I'm into Peter F. Hamilton for now, reading the Neutronium Alchemist atm. Now that's a dilemma and worthy foe. His work is suitable for numerous awesome Sci-fi games.

You basically have to make Halo your life

Their are a ton of them:

They are pretty fast read though even for a slow reader like me. A decent reader can probable finish a book every 3-4 hours or so.

Well not going to look all up but basically the fall of reach is already 7 hours for the average reader 250WPM.

I thought the average reading speed was higher than that, maybe I'm not that of a slow reader after all. The Fall of Reach took me 8 or 9 hours but that was in French so I don't know how that translate.

If anyone is bored I am streaming (and failing) at more Halo Infinite campaign. Still relatively early on in the game. https://www.twitch.tv/trunkswd

Just kidding. Still trying to avoid spoilers for a bit. Looks like I wont be touching it for a few more weeks.

Just did a 4 hour session and finished the campaign. It just keeps on going that last quarter of the game.

The ASMR though.

The moral dilemmas in this game are killing me

I really want to open a Grunt sanctuary. A spin off 3D platformer with Grunts would be fun.
