Back4Blood is being rumored as a day one GamePass title across Xbox, cloud, and PC.

Idk if its true, but that's amazing if so.

I'm guessing this is the FPS that Nick was teasing and not Battlefield 6, Lol.

I'm happy though, I was actually interested in Back 4 Blood so I hope its true.

I'm guessing he'd happily claim it's what he meant, even if it wasn't

Yeah, I have way more interest in Back 4 Blood than Battlefield 6 so I'd be hyped if it does indeed come to gamepass day one. Plus it's 4 player coop, would be another game we can play @ice  @Mike321 @Spade

No Persona to Xbox. Another notch on my bingo card.

So, about the briefing tomorrow: I hear many say that this time, Xbox really has to bring it. But I have now in impatient awaiting re-watched the last years’ E3 briefings, and I would say that they have “brought it” every time. Those were good briefings with great games, exciting hardware announcements and get hyped moments (OG Xbox backwards compatibility, Keanu etc.). I now ask myself a) what do we expect they should do so extraordinarily different other than that more of the games they show are first party? b) how much does it matter if all the good conferences after “tv, tv, tv” don’t matter?

I would just ignore all of that if I were you. At this point, I know exactly which users on this site will say that it was "disappointing" no matter what. Heck, I can almost predict the exact words they will use.

2015 and 2018 were Xbox’s best E3 last gen.

So I've listened to the last episode of Xbox Two podcast and read the spoilers stuff and what I'm gonna say is - I think that these guys really have started to overhype things a bit. The only logical explanation for them to change their mind would be is that the acquisitions stuff that they mentioned is indeed happening. But to be completely honest, acquisitions are nice but they are gonna make the show great personally for me. Not only because I don't really care about speculated studios, but because acquisitions are all about the games that coming in the far future. We've been talking about acquisitions way too long here already and I think it's time for MS to finally deliver on some games this year. If this year's E3 is gonna be "here we bought some studios" but we don't have much else for the next year, then it's not gonna be a great show even if they buy 10 studios.

The second point - we should always keep in mind that all this stuff is incredibly subjective. Even here, everyone in this thread might have completely different opinions on what should be shown tomorrow to make it a good show for them - some of us will definitely find something to be hyped about, others probably don't and that's okay as everyone have different tastes. So, the guys on podcast might indeed be incredibly hyped about what's coming but it could pretty much end up that the majority of us won't get hyped about it. Can't rule out this possibility.

To sum things up, all the new stuff they've been saying and other media people have been saying the last couple of weeks, doesn't affect me personally. I don't really believe the show has become incredibly great all of a sudden and still don't really have that much expectations and would rather be impressed tomorrow than let down by expecting way too much. It's also quite obvious that given the current situation, it's a bit unrealistic to expect the greatest Xbox E3 ever tomorrow. I agree with what Jason said above about 2015 and 2018 E3. Definitely have been the best shows last gen. But if tomorrow's show is at least on par with 2019 or even 2016 I'm okay with that.

P.S. Jeff Grubb kinda discredited himself tbh. I find it a bit hard to believe anything he says at this point, because he clearly just plays a guessing game without having any real inside info on his hands.

I have high hopes for Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, I hope that it’s good.

Can't wait to see what they have for Halo tomorrow. I also hope we get to see at least some gameplay for the new Perfect Dark.

And I finally decided to take the plunge and get Game Pass. I decided to try out Ori and the Blind Forest, and I loved it. I didn't know it was a Metroidvania, and I was pleasantly surprised by that. It's been a long time since I played a 2D game in that style. The visuals and art style were amazing. I also really liked the music, which was made by one of the composers for Halo Infinite. I just started the sequel the other day. It's quite different in some ways, but you can definitely tell it was made with a bigger budget as the graphics are more detailed, with better lighting.

I recommend Narita Boy if you want to maintain a 2D game streak.

Narita Boy is great. Too bad it's a bit of a hidden gem and didn't receive too much exposure.
