Only interested in a potential character reveal for Smash.

What time is it?

I'm in it for the trailers mostly! But I'll be rooting for REMake 2 or Smash to win although things look set up for a Death Stranding win.

What does this mean in UK time ?

Pretty clear from the player choice results that the Switch is on top right now. Not a single Xbox exclusive in day 2/3, only a single PS4 exclusive in day 2/3, and it is in a distant 4th place. Nintendo may very well finish in 1st and 2nd as the Jedi game is getting that Nintendo Hater love right now and Smash was in first place after day 1 and 2 and Fire Emblem was in 2nd both day 1 and 2 as well.

Another interesting trend, the viewership of The Game Awards has raised much faster with Nintendo having a hit system the last couple years.

2018: 26 million viewers

2017: 11.5 million viewers (first year with Switch)

2016: 3.8 million viewers

2015: 2.3 million viewers

2014: 1.9 million viewers

Really crazy the impact the Switch has had on gaming.

Wouldn't say he actively rigged it but with him as the biggest Kojima fanboy on the planet and all their history together I would be surprised If any of his followers wouldn't vote for anything not Kojima. 

Can't take the awards serious with Keighley as host. Hope there will be great trailers, though. GoT will be already a good one.

It shouldn't win as most of what it promised to do is only half way there, but Death Stranding will win for sure.

Although to be fair... I'm just interested in the announcements and trailers.
