I honestly wish there was a demo. It being 30 fps makes me skeptical honestly.

TEAMCOCO!!!  Platinum ^^'

Anyway I didn't find a good way to beat him on youtube because I lost always my USF thanks to those boost pads,  try to avoid them and you go longer with your USF:

Honestly, it's not a problem; it's a rock solid 30 and in conjunction with subtle high quality motion blur, it doesn't feel choppy or sluggish at all.

It isn't that hard it is just getting used to tracks and driftboost, I mentioned it before, Coco park is the best place to learn how to drift boost and probably one of the easiest ones to beat Oxide.  Maybe it take 10 times maybe 50 but if you see what the ghost does you can do the same and better.  When you beat him on the time trial then go to Crash cove or Roo tubes, a bit more challenging but with what you learned in Coco park you can probably manage to get close to his time on the first try.  After you did those two tracks you should have the skills to basically beat him on every track except for sewer speedway and dragon mines, sewer speedway is all about the shortcut and master how to take it.  Dragon mines is a 10/10 difficulty track and you need luck, everybody who beat him on dragon mines says it was luck...I beat him with 0.03 seconds...  every track has his small tricks like on Papu Papu pyramid at the maze I don't drift I just jump the corners because drift boosting trough them all is hard and even the ghost can't do it.

it being rock solid isn't my issue. I just knew I really didn't like how mk8 felt playing with 3 or 4 player split-screen

Really, so you used the deal for Ultimate gamepass?

Anyway I am loving the grand prix so far ^^'.

I just don't like what you get for being top 5%....It is not about skill but how much time you spend.  when I started today I saw someone with 1500 points at number 1 and that's a good 200 online races no way I reach top 5%.

I'm definitely going to get Ultimate, even if I don't use to it to its full potential for a while. My one hold up is that I just moved into a new house this past Saturday and I haven't connected any of my consoles yet. I have Gold paid up until March of next year so it's a deal that I can't pass up!

And I've given up any and all hope for being great in CTR. I'm just going to play it when I can and enjoy myself. Luckily the game is a ton of fun, even when I lose.

So about the sales of the game.

You can check leaderboards now and at Dragon mines time trial I am number 3600 and I beat him with 0.03 seconds. around 3700 did aswell.

I doubt their are many who beat him at Dragon mines but could not do the other time trials but lets say 3500 did beat him on all time trials.

3500 => platinum trophy =>0.2%

1% = 17.500
100%= 1.750.000 People who played the game and were online on PS4.

The sales must be good :).
