Back when I was young, the scene where Sigourney Weaver gets abducted by the dog like things made quite an impression on me.

None whatsoever when it comes to live action, except maybe how terrible the humor was in the last one. 
The animated series tho was creepy as hell. 

I was like 5-6 yo when it aired here so the series left an impression on me. 

The Boogeyman absolutely horrified me as a kid.

When I saw the 2016 trailer.

When the dog creature chased down Rick Morranis (or whatever his name is). The helplessness he had freaked me out as a kid. The fact that no one in New York gave a shit about him as long as the thing didn’t come their way.

Had this toy as a kid... pretty freaky

None really, I guess the painting in the second movie is the only things that comes anywhere close. I wasn’t really into it as a kid though, the movies are a bit before my time and I only saw them once or twice.
