Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Does Smash Bros Ultimate need more female characters?

More waifu's in smash?

Yes 4 33.33%

No 8 66.67%

Total:12

I see no reason why there shouldn't be more female fighters in Smash, if they're notable enough video game characters they should have the same chance as any other to join the roster.

On another note I feel this thread was made in poor taste of the topic.

Representation for the sake of it is not good in anyway.

You should always want more and plus piranha plant was a troll fighter just to piss off the waluigi fanboys.

People are still mad about this?

I was still hoping for Shantae, and her series has already become quite prominent.

.....Why would it need more female representation instead of other franchises representation?

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

They could be females from never-before-represented franchises. :)

I still want elma from Xenoblade X. A black, female, Xenoblade character that's a triple win for diversity

Xenoblade equals diversity?

Chill out Mr serious, this ain't your gender studies class so lighten up.

Well I am more educated now after reading this thread. enLIGHTENed up, you might say.

OP has an issue with making topics that attack women in some form and this thread is no different.
