Every year I look forward to Nintendo's conference first and Sony's second, so this year it's just Nintendo really. The other ones are just extras along the way that sometimes I watch, but I get most of the news from other developers on the internet later. The only one I really care about watching live is Nintendo's.

This will be a sad poll. I really feel bad for Sony fans who won't get to have at least the anticipation of a show. Nintendo and Sony are the two main populations here, and with Sony not doing a conference the poll results will continue to weigh heavily for Nintendo. It doesn't help that Nintendo's show promises to be at least very revealing about a few titles that many are very excited for. But second and third place will be interesting to watch at least.

I think i gotta say Limited Run. I refuse to be excited for Nintendo's after what they did last year.

I will probably watch all of them.

But, since I am a PC gamer, I will look forward to Microsoft.

I can't speak for the others here, but the vibe I get is that at least some of the PS fans here aren't bothered much. As for me, it's difficult to express how little their E3 absence bothers me. This gif may help though.

News will come when it comes, and when the important stuff drops, it will be just as impactful. Relatively speaking.

You gave enough to post a gif when I intended no troll whatsoever.  I think it's super fun to anticipate a show.  I feel the same for Sony fans that I did when I was a kid and I learned about Jehovah's Witnesses and how they didn't get birthdays or Christmas.  My mom threatened us one year that we would convert and she was serious and it sucked. Of course, she may have started me on my path to atheism that day, if a religion can giveth and taketh away.

Are you suggesting that posting a gif confirms that I care more than I'm letting on? And I never even thought for a second, much less suspected you were trolling, and acted on that suspicion by overcompensating. I can assure you, my sentiment is genuine. I'm not even a big E3 guy in general. Last year was the first time I watched any E3 live ever. Good timing with Sony's show. Which was VERY generous with the bathroom breaks. I didn't even make it halfway through. All the important info was disseminated afterwards, and i took it in. The next day, or 4 months later: When the info comes matters not at all, only it's contents are important. Like Sony's oddball Feb 21st 2013 PS4 reveal. E3 is there whether it's good or not. It's just ceremony. It doesn't mean anything in and of itself.

That is crazy.  Not as in "you are crazy," but it's just foreign for me to think about.  I've been watching E3 since there was such a thing and so much is revealed in that event that I couldn't imagine not hearing it real time.  I even excuse myself from work for Nintendo's live event.

Sony not being there changes very little for my anticipation of PS4 games.
The bread and butter for any PlayStation is third parties, and while they do have some interesting first party games still on the ay, there are just that many more third party games for me to look forward to.

Microsoft's press conference will essentially be the same thing, and possibly even more interesting because the third party announcements will be less spread out across different conferences, and more focused on one instead.
And Square Enix will probably show off Final Fantasy 7, so I am anticipating the show.

Ok...this nails it on the head for me.  This truly makes me understand the error in my sympathies.  As a Nintendo fan (I enjoyed the PS1 and PS2 tremendously), E3 has traditionally been the only time we got info on the games coming to our console.  Third party reveals sometimes may have delivered a gem or two, but the games that have made me the most excited have always been announced during the conference.  Of course with Nintendo Directs being a thing that has diminished.  And I can see that, in addition to the third party reveal aspect, Sony's State of Play and Microsoft's Inside XBox are also negating the need for a once a year information dump.

Ha. It was my first live game thing ever. Never watched a live Playstation Experience,  Nintendo Direct, or the last 2 PS whacimacalits. Especially important for the bigger conferences: I can watch it later and bypass all the pomp, and meaningless hot air. Skip to the good stuff, and save time not watching mediocre orators pause every 45 seconds to wait for applause. There are good/great moments too of course. But I'm fine waiting to see them. I'll be watching Devolver Digital's conference as soon as I can.

I've been very happy that Nintendo left those awkward stage deliveries in the past long ago.  They have ways of turning our favorite hobby into the cringiest thing you've ever seen, so I can definitely concur.  And yes, Gato Roboto is on my do-want list!
