Mildly excited about it. I hope they go back to writing a story again for it, Half-Genie Hero was too safe and completely ignores the character development we got in Pirate's Curse, it ends up feeling like a soft reboot rather than a follow up.

Also hope they go back to the more Metroid style exploration and Zelda like dungeons.

I've never played Shantae. I do know this however: the guy that runs GoNintendo probably just got a raging boner over the announcement. He's like 50, it's really weird how he likes the game...just a little too much.
