If we get mid-gen upgrades, I think the generation should last at least 8 years. I would prefer a bigger upgrade though (more like X1X than PS4 Pro) if we're going to go longer than that.

Yeah, I have seen my nephew playing Horizon Zero Dawn on my PS4 Pro, the visual was even more beautiful than Final Fantasy XV on my PC.
