Forums - General - Circumcision - Yes or No?

https://www.webmd.com/baby/guide/what-about-circumcision

Another article. More experts than on this thread. As a side note: Jewish Rabbi are typically significantly better at circumcision than most doctors because they practice it way more often. I just know a friend who had a rabbi perform the procedure while the doctor did everything else. Odd? Probably.

Bottom line, educate yourself on the facts and then decide. Dont worry about bullying because it will come regardless. Train your boy on how to deal with bullying. Best wishes.

Circumcision is a rough topic.
It's pretty much mutilation to an unwilling, unknowing person.
And yet, the way people talk about uncut penises, I am glad I'm circumcised and I don't remember the pain or the event so I doubt it's an actual impactful event. It seems like the parents care more.

Why would you want to mutilate your sons penis?

If you have plans for him to do porn as a career I guess you would lol

Otherwise NO

If you live in a country where people don't clean their cocks often, its probably a good idea.

I kinda wish I had a foreskin just to hide things in.

The health benefits if you do not bathe often are definitely real, but I feel like maybe having to bathe often is a good thing. Some people say that the foreskin makes you more sensitive which is bad because you orgasm quicker, but let me tell you that this is not a problem at all, and in fact I feel as you get older you become less sensitive and that extra sensitivity can help you to still enjoy sex as you age. Another minor benefit is that the extra skin can slightly increase girth and acts like a natural ribbed for increased pleasure for the female.

Biggest drawback to foreskin I would say is the smell, if you have not bathed before sex or pulled your foreskin back at least half an hour before the sex to let it breathe(can feel uncomfortable bc of sensitive head rubbing against cloth) then the smell will definitely kill any chance of sex. One thing I should mention is that it is in fact possible to pull your foreskin back and leave it like that for pretty much ever acting no different than a circumcised individual. Not sure if every person can do it, but I definitely can because of my big head, but I chose not to because I find it very uncomfortable when my head starts drying and rubbing on my underwear.

Edit: Masturbating is very easy uncircumcised, your penis is basically already lubed. LOL

The only reason going for circumcision is Phimosis. Otherwise don't do that, and if at all, let your son have its own decision.

It’s mutilation that serves no purpose whatsoever, a silly religious tradition that doesn’t even make sense (if God created you with foreskin aren’t you supposed to have it?). Same for nature actually. It’s there, it evolved that way, so it has to be good for something.

If there’s no immediate medical reason, I would never do it.

No, why would you perform unnecessary  surgery on your perfectly healthy boy

A big "No" here, if he wants to cut off his penis skin when he is older then he can get it done himself

Here in Australia is was very common before the 90's but is now virtually down to zero, during the transition people where respectful so it was never an issue with kids
