Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo's paid online service continues to disappoint

Nintendo shouldnt be chargeing for their online, if the best they can do is everything is same or worse as before they started chargeing, and all they give is a few NES games.

I wouldn't be as bothered if they actually had servers for the online, competitive games are hampered by wayward netcode.

Can't be disappointed if you've never bothered with the offerings in the first place.

Don't know of this Blaster Master game but Blaster Master Zero is awesome! I highly recommend it!

Not sure if you're joking but I'll state it for everyone who doesn't know like the OP. Blaster Master Zero is a remake of Blaster Master on NES. The NES game is really good but much harder than the remake due to a limited number of lives and continues.

Oh, good to know. Thanks!

I'm not gonna defend their practice of giving us 2 games, but the 2 games they did give us are bloody fantastic. Some of the best on the system.

Well considering it's easy and vastly available to run emulated version of NES games, they could put more SNES or N64 games now and then.

It's just as easy to run emulated SNES and N64 games.

More or less.

But I didn't want to be greedy and demand Wii and WiiU games for free =p

Might as well shoot for the moon!

meh while i don't like paying for online I only got it to play splatoon 2,mk8, and smash bros with my brother and friends online I just honestly do not care. I only wish i could message and invite friends

Maybe I'm late to the conversation and somebody has already said this but: BLASTER MASTER IS GREAT!

It was like MetroidVania before the term was even coined. Great 8-Bit graphics and sound, too. It was right up there with the best at the time and even got a remake for the Switch last year--which I bought.

Of course, I could never go back to playing 8-Bit games. The idea of it makes me have a little anxiety attack. I don't have the Nintendo online service either because it looks like it sucks. Just putting my two cents in.
Carry on.
