It's the second best selling game on the Wii U. It's going to sell. I'd say 15m-20m. Also it needs some Bowsette DLC.

Not sure about 2019 but LT I'll predict around 25m.

I think it has potential to be like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Due to Wii U failing and 3DS only doing decently in the west, many people will view this as the first 2D Mario release since Wii.

I think it has a shot at selling 10 million lifetime, maybe 5 million at the end of the year. 20 if they add in Bowsette :P (or Daisy, what about Daisy?!)
I wasn't very excited for this at first but when I went back and watched some gameplay videos I remembered this is actually the best New Super Mario Bros. game and is the closest to having actual world building and a cohesive universe in the "New" series. Plus decent level design. So I think it'll get some word of mouth.

I say about 5 million in 2019 Globally. LTD not sure since Mario games have pretty long legs.
