Why would they do that right after the holidays with Pokemon Let's Go still selling?

I agree that not all of that is happening but which are impossible from a development point of view?

Everything releasing in 2019. Metroid Prime 4 and Bayonetta 3 both coming out this year sounds incredibly unlikely, considering how vague their announcements were and how demanding they are in terms of budget and development time, it's very possible they're only coming in 2020. That isn't to say they can't come out this year, because they can and I'm still hoping they do, but to expect that to happen when you're already counting on a year with Yoshi, Labo, Fire Emblem, Luigi's Mansion, Daemon X Machina, Metroid Prime HD Trilogy, Animal Crossing, Pokémon, and a Retro Studios game, it's, well... quite crazy, I'd say. In fact, the confirmed lineup already looking so good is another reason I'm not expecting Bayonetta 3 or Prime 4 this year, they're just not needed.

That doesnt really have anything to do with a development point of view though.

Prime 4 & Bayo 3 were announced in 2017 (June & Dec) by holiday 2019 that will be 2-2.5 years after reveal and we dont know exactly when development started but it could feasibly be more like 2.5-3 years.

I agree that from a business point of view that is too loaded of a lineup and pushing some of those titles to 2020 is going to happen but nothing you said points against it being possible from a development standpoint.

Vague announcement doesnt mean anything and you have no idea how long or costly development time is for either game.

Sun and moon was February and XY was January. If not this month, 100% before the end of the fiscal year

Not sure, they revealed XY literally the second week of january(the 8th) while BW2 was still selling

We'll get one but It wont have anything new, much like everyone else has already said it will go over the 2019 titles we know about and get the vague ''launch window'' month/season it will launch in. I stopped expecting anything of substance from these after the last 3 or 4 ND's
