It would not be surprising to see the switch finish first, logic the console did not even celebrate its 2 years and the PS4/XB1s are starting their sixth year.

If this is true, then the NS is finally crancking it up to maximum. Not unexpected with a new pokemon (spinoff) and Smash.

You could even say it may have smashed some records .

Then do 2015 PS4 vs Switch 2018 for a fair comparison. I think the result will be the same. PS4 even had a promotion and price cut during that time lol.

What are you talking about? People are speculating switch did 10-12mil with the last quarter and could very well achieve their goal. And it's massively up from last year's 1.5mil might even be 2.5mil+ in December. It's much better for switch this year and if true, could very well mean that switch reaches its goal

Ok. We are going to say 6m at December and 10m at this quarter. We have 15m then. So Nintendo needs 5m between January, February and March. As I said, pretty much difficult to rich its goal.

Even 2m for Switch wouldn't be normal number, that would make best December for any platform this generation and around last 7 years. Also selling more than 2m for Switch goes very much in favour of Switch reaching objective this years fiscal year.

I dont think Nintendo would again wants to put all their bets on FY Q3 (Nov-Dec), this year they were kind of forced but next year they will probably want to spread big releases and not put them all in Q3. I expecting that Animal Crossing will be Spring-Summer game.

I would said this quarter be around 11m, and January-March around 4m, and there you have 20m.
