Forums - Sales Discussion - Predict Switch November NPD

How much will Switch sell in November NPD?

Less than 800k 0 0%

800k-900k 1 1.92%

900k-1 million 5 9.62%

1 million-1.1 million 8 15.38%

1.1 million-1.2 million 13 25.00%

More than 1.2 million 25 48.08%

Total:52

I'll go with 1.1/1.2

The poll numbers are way too low.

People were saying that Switch sold 800k+ between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday. Add in a Pokemon launch and you should have options at least going up to 1.5 mil.

Below 800k shouldn't even be an option as it's lower than Nintendo's own press release.

The floor is 900k and that's extremely questionable since there are still 5 days of unaccounted for sales if you do believe the PR.

Doesn't matter what the poll numbers are as all the possible options are covered. Over 1.2M is listed there too. So just make your prediction or cast your vote.

So if for instance, you had a poll like "What percentage score do you think you made on the recent Statistics  exam?" and the choices were "less than 10%", "10% - 20%", "20% - 30%", "30% - 40%", "40%-50%", and "greater than 50%" that you think it would be a sufficient statistical poll?

Just look at the results. The majority are picking the last option and barely anybody is choosing the first 3 options, which means the last option needs to be expanded so that the polling can be more precise and the first 3 options should be lumped together.

Sticking with 1.2m

Uh huh, uh huh, so what's your prediction?

900k - 1 million.

What's yours, rounded to the nearest 100k range?

Interesting. Do you think that the Switch sold 800k+ units between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday? Cause if so that's not a lot a room for the Pokemon launch.

My prediction isn't lieu of the Nintendo press release, just sticking to my previous prediction from last week's BF prediction thread. Which was:

PS4 2.1m

NSW 1.2m

XB1 1.0m

More than 1.2m.

Was thinking 1.2 million a while ago...

I'll go with 1.3 million now.
