To be fair, it's not just the press.  I've seen comments on youtube with stuff like "If RDR2 doesn't win, then the Game Awards are rigged."

PlayStation doesn't compete in handhelds so its obvious Nintendo will win.

PS4 had the strongest lineup of games this year is what he was saying and I agree. Forza Horizon 4 was the only game not available on PS4 that I could see as being nominated for the best game of the year.

And it really should have been over Assassin's Creed Odyssey. And that's coming from a person who doesn't like Forza but loves Assassin's Creed.

Yep. Forza Horizon 4 is a fucking masterpiece. Assassin's Creed Odyssey is a good RPG but nothing spectacular.
