Have you ever thought that, assuming this leak is real, there is a extremely tiny chance, but a chance nonetheless, that MS might announce Banjo for Smash at the XO18?I know this is the wildest of dreams, the deepest of especulations, but given how good the relationship betwenn Nintendo and MS is, and that MS is planning long term(So having Banjo in Smash may work as a marketing ploy to spread MS and its catalog of games to other fanbases in order to pave the way for Scarlet), that they could do it as part of their deal to put Banjo is Smash?

I mean, this is unlikely as hell, but given how wrong but strangely exciting this scenario would be, it would be extremely entertaining if it indeed happens.

No pokemon gen7 rep is hugely disappointing. I thought one of either Decidueye/Incineroar were basically guaranteed to make an appearance.

It's kinda amazing how Smash Bros. is the most speculated game series I've ever witnessed (unless someone can show another game more speculated and rumored than Smash). Whether it be which character(s) will join the roster, which stages will be included, what kind of modes, etc., rumors and speculations go beyond. Though, in cases like having Cloud, Ryu, Bayonetta, Simon, Sonic, Snake, Mega Man, Pac Man, etc., it kinda feels that the imagination for the Smash Bros. roster could go even higher, which is hard to believe.

If true, than Banjo Kazooie and Isaac would be big announcements for me.
Also maybe hinting at a future Banjo Kazooie game if they make an appearance. Shame no Battletoads.. yet.

This leak is becoming more and more credible by the hour. The guy who sent the original image has been confirmed through multiple sources to work for a French advertising firm, which has had a history of working with Bandai-Namco, who is helping develop Smash Ultimate.

Though keep in mind, Source Gaming and others have noted that Smash Bros. Ultimate is NOT being marketed by Bandai-Namco, it's being marketed by Nintendo. Though this may not necessarily count out this particular leak, it is something to consider.

The other thing that just dawned one me -- if legit, we're getting Banjo-Kazooie Amiibo!

Mind you, he was basically doxed by 4chan anons, so yeah it's pretty much confirmed by this point, though the possibility that he was merely the fall guy for the one who actually took the picture is still there.

If this does turn out to be true I'll be very happy Banjo is in the game. Couldn't care less about the others. Wonder if these leaked characters are dlc. Microsoft would get a cut of the banjo dlc so deal makes sense.
