How do you figure they're from PS fans?! Judging from the comments, it looks like PC users were more vocal. I didn't even see anything from PS gamers at all. Why would they anyway? They have the same game and they already know the Xbox One X version will be the best out of all of the versions.

I agree, and also both Console versions are nearly identical on Pro and X1 X...

Right. The differences is marginal. One X is slightly better. You could hardly tell the difference though against the Pro. Which is why it would be weird if PS fans ragged on the XB version of RDR2 where the comparisons are almost spot on.

I wouldn't say there nearly identical. Native 4k on X vs Checking boarding on the Pro sticks out like a sore thumb here. Plus aside from the smoother framerate and little more extras here and there, this game is actually a technique showcase for the X and is a bigger jump from Pro than most other Pro vs X comparisons.

But I guess it depends how badly you want to see this game at its best. Games like this are so good it doesn't matter what you play it on, its an experience worth your time.

i have to agree, it's a nice step up, 4k textures rock solid 30fps, and 4k resolution, it's a nice upgrade, but it's expected xbox x is more expensive console.

Looking at the userscore on Xbox One it looks like there is more angry Playstation fans than anything.

I didn't put too much thought into it because the point I was trying to make (but forgot to write, was literally 3AM) is that it's silly to judge assume a userscore is automatically from a rabid fnbase no matter what conclusion you draw from it.

However I will say that what you arr saying makes sense. I drew my point by the fact that the Xbox One version was off in userscore by like two points at the time of writing compared to the PS4 version. Rethinking it though, it could be because the Xbox's smaller market share leaves the userscore to being more susceptible to trolls. I've actually seen a couple of Playstation fans get mad ath the game so I didn't think it was aout of the realm of possibility, luckily not on VGC though. Either way I honestly do not care much, it is a rather silly thing to be very concerned about. But if I'm wrong my bad.

It's all good. I wasn't trying to start an argument. I was just wondering where you based your claim from at the time. Also do you live in another country? It was about 7am when I replied to you. At the time it said you posted 18 minutes. I was sleeping at 3am. Well none of that matters.

Anyway, the Xbox One X version will be the best version of RDR2. No debating that even with the most devote PS fans. However, I'm sure both PS and Xbox fans will get the exact same enjoyment from the game. If you're a fan of the series that is.

Well like I said the point I was trying to make but forgot to was that these claims are always baseless for the most part and therefore ridiculous . Although, apparently there's a ton of PC games who are admitting they're just doing it because it's not on PC??? I wouldn't expect people to be so upfront, lmao, I guess that ruins my point.

Also, isn't that time difference fairly regular for people who live on different sides of the U.S.? You know, a time zone difference. If you live on the east side and I live on the west side of the U.S. the difference can be anywhere from 3-5 hours in time. I think it's about 3-4 for us.

currently ranked # 1 game of all time on metacritic.

Zelda OoT has 99 and GTA IV has 98, so I doubt it.

The Xbox-version was at 99, a stronger 99 than OoT

Predicted 15+ million lifetime-sales for God of War:

I'd give this game a 50/100 if I were to score it right now after 12-15 hours. It's really bad, and really mundane nearly at all activities. It's brilliance is nullified when you're forced to remember how torturous all actions are. Horrible transitioning from anything to anything different. Something that The Witcher 3 already showed how to do correctly. Yet it's painful to hunt, and then get on your horse. Want to loot something? Watch every damn animation! Want to pick up a herb? Oh, you stepped awkwardly, and now you need to 180 and shimmy... Still no prompt, oh, let's back up a bit more, and pick it up. Oh, don't forget to watch the whole animation! You're reminded constantly how tedium the simplest of tasks truly is. Today's gameplay ended for me when I stole an item that cost 9.50$ from an ABANDONED store, yet outside three witnesses not even close to the place are scrambling to tell the police.

Where the hell is the fun. I loved RDR1. I don't know what garbage this is. I'll tell you another thing from today that pissed me off. Running with my horse through the grassy fields and my horse falls at full sprint because he tripped on near even terrain. This isn't even complaining about going flying when I hit a rock, a tree, a branch, a thick bush, or a slight jump/elevation change. So much fun! Yay, let me eat and restore my horse and my stats because this game is a pile of crap. Cores are stupid!

Now, that's for now. I still will pick up the game again. But it's clear, I am infuriated by the offerings of this title. I paid $100 for this game cause of how excited I was for it. I've been waiting forever for this to come out. But it's nothing like the original RDR. It's just too much maintenance/real-life-simulator without good smooth fun gameplay. Guess this is what happens when a developers head gets to big.

After 77 reviews, PS4 version could be at 98% Meta, but Slant magazine wanted to be clickbait...70% from them, sounds fishy. Only 29 reviews for X1 version ? And no Slant magazine review yet :D

Anyway, another Masterpiece for PS4 and X1, that's great. It will sell better than hot cakes. Record numbers are coming.

It’s funny how that’s exactly like Zelda last year, it was 98, until them.

Anyway, amazing score, kind of puts it on my radar. Also have the original on PS3 but for some reason I never actually played it.

I know Meta means nothing when we look at +/- 1 or +/-2 points as it is an average of opinions, and most media/reviewers are honest/unbiased and they "compensate" the very few fishy/biased/clickbait media/reviews. This happens to all AAA titles, exclusive or non exclusive. Said that, I still consider Zelda a 98%, and RDR2 a 98%(PS4); I do not take into account those media/reviews that are a clear joke, and this is evident reading the content of these reviews, when they try at any cost  to put down the game referring to their taste. Also some Media do it very often, and this is a clear sign of someone who wants attention.   Of course everybody is entitled to his opinion, but when 80 Media say :"Masterpiece", and only one say:"meh, average...", and this one Media did it already with others AAA titles, well, it's automatic, and I think this media is a joke; opinions are always opinion but they should be based on concrete things and value.
