I'd give this game a 50/100 if I were to score it right now after 12-15 hours. It's really bad, and really mundane nearly at all activities. It's brilliance is nullified when you're forced to remember how torturous all actions are. Horrible transitioning from anything to anything different. Something that The Witcher 3 already showed how to do correctly. Yet it's painful to hunt, and then get on your horse. Want to loot something? Watch every damn animation! Want to pick up a herb? Oh, you stepped awkwardly, and now you need to 180 and shimmy... Still no prompt, oh, let's back up a bit more, and pick it up. Oh, don't forget to watch the whole animation! You're reminded constantly how tedium the simplest of tasks truly is. Today's gameplay ended for me when I stole an item that cost 9.50$ from an ABANDONED store, yet outside three witnesses not even close to the place are scrambling to tell the police.

Where the hell is the fun. I loved RDR1. I don't know what garbage this is. I'll tell you another thing from today that pissed me off. Running with my horse through the grassy fields and my horse falls at full sprint because he tripped on near even terrain. This isn't even complaining about going flying when I hit a rock, a tree, a branch, a thick bush, or a slight jump/elevation change. So much fun! Yay, let me eat and restore my horse and my stats because this game is a pile of crap. Cores are stupid!

Now, that's for now. I still will pick up the game again. But it's clear, I am infuriated by the offerings of this title. I paid $100 for this game cause of how excited I was for it. I've been waiting forever for this to come out. But it's nothing like the original RDR. It's just too much maintenance/real-life-simulator without good smooth fun gameplay. Guess this is what happens when a developers head gets to big.
