Forums - General - Amazon: (Switch compatible) 400GB microSD card down to $99

Damnit I missed it! $100 400 GB Micro SD is a steal considering I spent $94 on a 200 card just under a year ago.

If I didn't already have a 256 GB card with more than half the space remaining, I'd be all over this.

It's funny when I think about how I've spent $114 each, on 6 32gb Vita memory cards. Like putting on new shoes and immediately stepping in dog shit funny.

Really?  The 64gb cards were less than $100 a few years after release...

Damn that's tempting. Except the promotion is done already...

Canadian prices. 32 gb cards were $120 at launch, then reduced to $99. Add on 14% tax.

I wish I knew where you we looking! I paid $100 for 32GB (the biggest at the time) and I haven't seen 64GB for that price, yet. Plus I've read that they were easily corruptible. Of course, with the Switch on the market, my Vita may as well not exist now.

Didn't 3rd parties make an adapter so that you could use SD Cards instead or was that PSP?

As far as I know, only jailbroken Vitas can use non-proprietary SD cards.

Yeah, the 64gb Vita cards have a bad reputation. It's why I never bought any. I would have loved to have had them instead of the 32's, but it wasn't worth the risk.

I bought a 64gb card for $91 off Amazon in 2014 or 2015.  It's one of the best purchases I've ever made.  Never had an issue with corruption but it's unfortunate that others have.  I'll hang on to my vita until a more portable switch comes out.  Nintendo does love their handheld iterations.
