Switch still doing great after Obon with no major release. I think we can expect it to go up for the rest of the year.

What do you expect to push Switch sales in September?

The PS3 at this time was selling 12-13k so the PS4 post OBON at 20k+ is pretty impressive.

I'd agree in normal case, but for this week it's likely that at least 4-5k of the PS4 sales are due to the 500 million special system. So without that special console it's likely sales would have been around ~17k this week.

Well OBON or not, Switch hardware is still going great. Should be over the 5 million mark soon. Wow that went by fast.

In September there is actually a good few titles to push Switch sales before Super Mario Party in October. Nintendo Labo: Toy-con 3, Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna the Golden Country, Dragon Ball FighterZ, SNK Heroines, Valkyria Chronicles 1 + 4, The World Ends with You: Final Remix and Fifa 19 are all notable games releasing in September in Japan.

Unless there are a lot of releases in October, I think it will go even lower. October is always poor for all consoles.

Yeah I can see October being poor then unless Nintendo does something special. Super Mario Party might boost sales to September ish levels, but the inevitable October lull will likely come with the weeks after.

Switch had this for HW last October: It should/might be able to beat the slower weeks, but not SMO week.

Decent performance on the Switch front. I hope it's able to maintain this level of sales until Super Mario Party drops. I'm sure this game will be an evergreen title and will help add up to the weekly sales a bit.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

I am pretty sure that's not still complete October list, how we are getting closer to October more games will be announced/confirmed.

I've heard My Hero Academia is (from a ratio standpoint) more popular in the West than in Japan but ... my god ... I really expected higher numbers than that?

October 18: Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy

But....This one is not available already ?

We're only now seeing third parties actually moving non-negligible amounts of software on Switch. It's crazy how slow everyone has been to adapt.

Switch Top 5 Third Party Publishers as of June 30, 2018
1. Capcom - 290k
2. Square Enix - 260k
3. Bandai Namco - 260k
4. Koei Tecmo - 200k
5. Konami - 150k

Switch Top 5 Third Party Publishers as of now, 2 months later
1. Bandai Namco - 520k (+260k)
2. Square Enix - 450k (+190k)
3. Capcom - 330k (+40k)
4. Microsoft - 240k (+140k)
5. Koei Tecmo - 200k

Wii U for reference
1. Bandai Namco - 400k
2. Square Enix - 400k
3. Microsoft - 370k
4. Capcom - 260k
5. Koei Tecmo - 220k

What about other consoles? 3DS, Wii, PS4, Vita? Wii U comparisons are laughable.
