Forums - Gaming Discussion - 48 minutes of Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay

Not interested, and hyped too much graphically and look how that's turned out.

So you play as a proper pre made character? Very happy about that, I don't really like games with character creator systems, they just don't have any soul to them. Much better to have a proper character with their own story, their own name and their own voice.

I'm still disappointed that it's 1st rather than 3rd person, but it looks good regardless.

So are you saying the Souls series don't have any soul?

Looks really good.
Looks boring too.

Few times have such a hyped game lived up to my expectations once first footage is shown, and this is one of those times.

Looks promising, but every time I hear about this game I just think about my friend who is boycotting it because of no third-person, lol. (In his defense, he gets motion sickness in FP games and not TP, and they did say originally that this would have the option to switch)

I don't think they ever said that. Those were just leaks from what I remember. And it makes sense to go just FPS. Making this TPS compatible would just be a nightmare and a lot of work I believe

hmmm just looks like a scifi GTA with RPG elements.

Meh. Fallout 76 and Red Dead 2 have more going for open world games than this does from what I've seen in the trailer. Which says something, considering 48 mins of Cyberpunk 2077 is more than we've seen of Fallout 76 and Red Dead 2 combined as of today.

Looks amazing. Can it beat the Witcher 3? I don't know, that game was amazing in every way. But holy fuck are they going all out. It just looks so damn impressive.

I expected more because people who saw E3 demo hyped this like the second coming of christ or something, nothing blew me away that my head exploded, i am sure i wil love it but i expected a little more. this is more like deus ex fucks GTA and they had a child.

Deus Ex level of detail but in an open world is absolutely astonishing, not to mention the sheer number of assets on screen with that level of visual fidelity. I'm definitely impressed by what I saw, all the systems play nicely together. CDPR need to be careful about hyping this too early, it looks like a finished project but I kept hearing that this thing wasn't coming out for a long time. After seeing this I would guess Q3 next year.

The game looks really well but I feel like it's too complicated.
