I like insomniac games (Ratchet and clank especially), but I hate open-world superhero games. Batman Arkham knight is just awful.

Even Slant and Metro gave it a 7. And those two sites typically hate everything.

Seems like this is a confusing disagreement. I say they have been overhyped, and you say they aren't overhyped. So word for word. 

Keep in mind I never said there a bad company, in fact I clearly stated there a good company. And I even mentioned before in this very thread that this is the best Spiderman game ever made. 

For you to come out saying "Stop doing what I do in these threads" is actually attacking and accusing.

From the DF analysis it seems much more like a 95 game, but an average 90 is a realistic aim... if it falls a little shorter well that is life.

They don't have to make Masterpieces to be a good company, and I agree with you there, everyone can be excited for Spiderman, I am looking forward to playing it myself because I actually like Spiderman

There are 69 guesses by the community on this thread all coming out to 6183 in total score guesses. Take that number and divide by 69 for the average. You get 89.6 as the average user's guess. The game scored 87 on metacritic, but MC unfairly weights some reviewers scores. Opencritic has the game at 88. So users here did not overhype Spider-Man at all.

I can appreciate Azzaz's opinion on the matter, but it's wrong. This game was clearly not overhyped by the community here. Blatantly accusing him of trolling on the other hand is just wrong. Someone isn't trolling if they give an opinion that you disagree with, or don't like. Someone isn't trolling if they are argumentative. They are trolling when they insult other users. Learn the difference.

Sony could still buy them if the owner(s) agreed to it but it wouldn't hurt the studio since Sony is fairly good at letting their studios remain independent. 

Now that's a great score. Sony is racking up critical hit after critical hit in terms of exclusives.

Now, time for a crazy prediction: I think Spider-man is going to be the best selling PS4 exclusive, PERIOD. Yes, it will sell more than Horizon, Uncharted 4, GOW, and even TLOU 2. Anecdotal evidence, but my friends with PS4's who usually play GTA or COD (they didn't care for GOW or UC4) are super hyped for this. Also, I think this is like the most marketing I've seen for a game, maybe except a few games like Halo 3, GTA V and Destiny 1/2.

The debut might be a little less than God of War, but I think this will a hot ticket holiday item alongside Smash, which will give it significant boost it's sales.

Thanks for making this clear. But unfortunately people like to stick to an ungrounded opinion just so they don't need to change or reroute connections in their brain. 

I agree with the first paragraph and azz not trolling (he's downplaying, making it seem like it didn't meet people's expectations though).
