Wow Wii games are long. Damn also want. Heavenly sword and Uncharted were 8hours or so. Honestly that is too short for 60 bucks. 50h would be too much for me because I like a nice story ark without too much grinding or length (JRPGs are out of the question) but 15-20 hours like in Ratchet or Assassin's should be provided by a game.

I think it's less a matter of NMH being a Wii game than it is about it being from a relatively small developer. I can only surmise that had NMH been on the 360/PS3 it would have been even shorter due to additional development costs, HD standards, and the like.

The real culprit is marginal cost for each additional hour of gameplay vs revenue. Do you think Suda's folks would really be making that much more revenue (and thus profit) had the game been 1 hour longer? 2 hours longer? 10?

Pretty true.  Considering the different sizes in development teams and money it's pretty funny to be comparing this game to Uncharted and HS two of the more expensive games this generation so far... with giant teams working on them.

Jeez, do you have, like, nothing better to do with your day than play games for hours on end? These days even a 10-hour game takes me two weeks to finish.

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

Too short or not, this is still easily the best single player experience on the Wii.

Have you put the wii remote up to your ear? and heard sylvias message its kinda funny. If you didnt hear it then adjust your volume on your wii remote.

The first few times were cool, and it was a fantastic use of the wiimote speaker/vibration. After a while though, she started to get annoying and I just wished I could skip past her phone call.

I'd say it was slightly on the short side in sweet mode (that's the easy one right?) and it seems like it's going to be a good length on mild mode (assuming this is medium). And Grey Acumen.........take it easy on the games, lol. Too many hours.

it's like reading a good book, I keep telling myself "okay, just one more XYZ and then I'll quit for the day" and then I unlock something and so I'm like "okay, lets just play around and see what neat things I can do now that i unlocked this" and then I'll end up sucked into the next level and the process starts all over again.

Seppukuties is like LBP Lite, on crack. Play it already!

Ah ok, I see. I've done that a few times myself with Fire Emblem.........but it lead to headaches the next day when I had to wake up early (played until like 2 or 3 am). However, I had to stop it and had to basically train myself, which took me a couple weeks.

Seems to me there are a shocking number of PS3/X360 games reviewed with that very problem.  "The game is too short" or "the single player campaign is too short," and replayability is low or nonexistant unless you take the games online.  Too much style over substance.
