Acevil said: To add to your point. People need to look at the bigger picture, instead of focusing on small one (this applies to a lot of people). It rose by nearly 100% since November, for it to suddenly have decline by 10%. (Which by the way, since has risen by 5%) MHW is a success, please need to stop acting like it is not. Yes, capcom has some concerning spots of poor management of success, they are essentially how take-two was last generation, some how producing hits, but financially that was not being reflected, but that doesn't change the fact that the games itself were hits. |
This one as well. Very well said. Especially the last part. I think I read this in ResetEra Capcom is suffering from identity crisis atm but MHW is a great start for them.
RE2 remake looks promising as well.
Capcom also need to revive some of their old IPS. Dino Crisis, Lost Planet reboot Onimusha and Dead Rising with Battle Royal element.
Deep Down needs to be release. That game looks very promising. With today's market. That game has all the potential. Perfect for streaming and co-op with friends.
Capcom also needs a success story in mobile. People really underestimate the profit Mobile are giving to a lot of devs.

I have limited knowledge with it comes to PC gaming so I based it on common knowledge.
If you are talking about business or the stock market. Not really. A shareholder would even prefer it.
Sales wise then let's wait and see when MHW PC launch. PC gaming in Japan as I recall is not that big. PC gaming is bigger outside Japan. SEA market, China, S. Korea and other parts of Asia.
