Yeah, thats understandable. Probably not the best value if you're already subbed. I have a year of Plus already but went ahead and stacked a few years of this. Hoping the service is not crap lol. Though going by Junes release (Returnal) on Premium.. at worst it will cost a bit extra to have some decent games to play a month.

If you can stack and will retain the benefit that is just great, unfortunately PSNow isn`t available in Brazil.

So random thought, but I think SEGA is a good fetch for Sony for a number of reasons:
1) Not stuck to other businesses (that I can see)
2) Gives them a JRPG arm with Atlus.
3) SEGA EU gives them PC studios for their PC strategy.
4) Some mobile studio experience, which Sony is expanding into.
5) Legacy titles (SEGA, Atlus, Sammy titles on PS; but also SEGA consoles)

They got rid of arcades, but I believe the Sammy part still have non-gaming business.

Only real obstacle here is Sega Sammy is involved in a ton of other businesses that Sony has no need for. However, if they were willing to part with their gaming division, SEGA would be a great pick up for SIE, and the price tag would be in the same ballpark as Bungie.

What are the chances that Sony allocated PS5's for server blades in order to get ready for the rebranding of PS Plus?

Which would make it a steal in comparison.

I think that depends on Bungie's next project.

Random thought but I wonder whether Sony would of released Horizon in April if they could turn back the clocks.

-More time to iron out some of those glitches & bugs + not being overshadowed by Elden Ring.

Not for me since I like Sega games much more than Bungie =p

My assumption is that they target SEGA alone, and not Sega Sammy Holdings. That leaves them with the gaming side of the business (I'm under the impression that the Sammy subsidiary caters to everything else.

Could be, but then Sammy would need to be willing with letting go of a big part of itself, sure it is doable, but I don't think it would happen, similar to Kadokawa releasing From Software to be acquired (but at least in Kadokawa case most of what they do have some alignment with Sony).

Would need to see if the sales were below expected and how much it would gain by an extra month on the oven.

Theres a reason why Sony didn't pull the trigger to buy capcom when they were 150 million back then

Sony has never expressed an interested in buying publishers. Any massive takeover at this point is in response to Microsoft. Bungie (the biggest yet) is still just a single developer

After leaving the Activision contract in 2019, Bungie became it's own publisher for its games.
