I hope you didn't get Destiny 2, because it will be free for PS Plus member on September.

Lol I didn't. I dodged a bullet there.

Is Destiny 2 worth bothering with? It's a mmo right?

God of War 3 Remastered guys, download it now if you haven't played it else played it on PS3. Its a fantastic game and among my favourites all time. Looks stunning at 1080p 60fps.

I haven't played Destiny 2 yet but I played Destiny 1(without any paid DLC though)

Destiny is not an MMO, to me it's really just a co-op shooter with an end game to get better loot.

Everything in Destiny can be played in Co-Op, and in fact the game is built around that. You can play the single player by yourself sure, but the bread and butter of these types of ganes is in playing with others.

It's technically an open world sure, but really it can function without that quite easily, to go to missions you already had to go to the menu and load it from there. Side missions were pretty lame, and world events (random events that happened while you were in the open world) were okay.  But want to do a raid or strike? Go to the menu, load from there, same for daily and weekly missions , any form of matchmaking as well.

Is it worth it? I put 70 hours into Destiny 1, it was pretty fun, but it wasn't mind blowing. The prices of the DLC putt me off a lot as well. But it's really about what your looking for

A story driven open world shooter? Not really

A multiplayer game to play with your friends and hunt for better loot? Sure it's decent enough

The fact that it was a "shared world" shooter really did little for the game or affected it by the way, The Division did it much better. It has little to nothing to do with the main activities you will be doing in game.

Guess I'll add it to my library and mess with it later. Trying to finish up a game before Spider-Man is released. Thanks for the info.

I'd say metro redux. It would take you about 20-30 hours to complete the 2 metro games so if you're looking for an experience of that length go for it.

4 and 5 days to go for DQXI.
7 and 8 more to go for Spiderman!

10 more days to go for Playstation pre TGS.

Hype!

MF. I played it on PS3, bought it the RM on PS4, AND downloaded the PS+ version, ensuring I will be buried with my sealed copy of the remaster. :)

If you have it from PS+ sure. But if you are going to buy it I would wait for a full edition that has all the DLC. That was my plan before they gave it for free on PS+.

But if you want something to hold you over till Spidey, Destiny 2 might not be it since it could be a time sink if you enjoy it, unless you don't mind playing 2 games simultaneously
