Yeah, that's pretty big apparently... I don't really follow EVO, although I know there's some dude who's apparently really good and wears a Sonic hat lol.

I don't follow it either but i know it's the biggest fighting tournament in the world. Jim Ryan and the rest of Sony are probably celebrating hard at the moment that they got something before Tencent did. lol

Damn. I've seen on their YT channel how they started investing in and associating themselves with the fighting game scene, but this is a whole other level. I guess PS is declaring themselves as the place for fighters.

This week I finished Mafia 3, reasonably average game with decent story and nice atmosphere, but the bugs, lack of manual saving and need for multiple plays not being worthy I didn't platinum it. And also platined Vampyr which was despite the bugs and slow loading (making retry a pain), even though it is a souls like type of game because of the story and being vampires with just a simple workaround to avoid second play made me a happy gamer.
The week prior I platined Dragon Ball Z Kakarot and it is a fantastic game.

I could never get into 12. It had a weird hybrid system that didn't click for me.. it also played like a offline MMO.. not my cup of tea. The characters were also a bit.. eh.

Onto XIII yeah some are insufferable like happy go-getter Vanille, but once you kinda clock out of their weird quirks and awkward dialogue, that probably only work on Japanese dialect and customs its not that bad. Like there was nothing like that laughing Tidus scene in that game lol. But yeah it was the switching back and fourth between specs, balancing offense and defense and working with timing. And getting that stagger for big damage. A mechanic that was added on FF7R.

I don't know not for everyone. I enjoyed it enough to complete and that makes it pretty good imo.

Give the PS4 remaster of FFXII a second chance... I hated the original on PS2, but the ability to completely avoid combat and also how you can manage the automatic portion of the helpers on the party (that you can rotate) made the battles very enjoyable and the tactics to beat the bosses and challenges quite unique. You just have to read a little and prepare yourself in advance and that makes the game truly great.

Yeah, I might do that. In all fairness that was a long time since I tried the game (that was on PS2!). And that was coming off FFX, which was the last usual FF (gameplay) I was used to. Hearing good things about XII, I just have to dedicate time into it lol.

It was the same with me, loved IX, liked X and the graphics (presented before I had PS2) then played XII and was a bummer. Several years later and understanding the game I enjoyed it.

Damn, Ratchet and Clank 2016 (currently free for all members), will get an update to be played at 60fps.

Nice. I booted up R&C the other day to try it out and after playing lot of games in 60fps it didn't feel great to go back to the 'old 30. Can't wait for the patch so I can play it through.

Now Bloodborne please!

Nothing for me this month. I've beaten HZD already, so I'm not saving it either

I still haven't found time to play Ratchet & Clank or FF VII remake, too many games to beat already
