Yeah, Chinese language down to 30.4%
Another boring update... but I added VRAM and bandwidth, which allows some nice filtering and sorting options:
But I found out today, that the Steam Deck LCD and the Steam Deck OLED can be separated in the hardware survey. They seem to have different graphic drivers:
The Steam Deck LCD had a headstart of 20 months and is still sold for a lower price.
A growth from zero to 30% for the OLED-model within half a year is quite impressive:
The share of Steam PC systems with at least 8 GB VRAM grew from 33% to 53% within the last 18 months:
The share of Steam PC systems with at least 12 GB VRAM almost tripled within the last 18 months:

AMD CPUs being down is probably due to people waiting for Zen 5, and with Intel's woes right now, I suspect AMD may soon rise rather sharply in market share - especially if Arrow Lake underperforms.

Oh, neat. At least somewhere Steam adds new stuff

No wonder considering that before the current gen NVidia only had 3080Ti, 3090, 3060 12GB and the Titan with that much memory.
And like I said in the past, I'm pretty sure in the Radeon graphics part there are probably a few more, namely the 7800XT, 7900XT/GRE and 7600XT, though to what amount nobody knows.

Not a single AMD GPU mamanes to reach 1%... Sad.

Let's hope that Navi 4 will be something similar to Polaris in that regard - and that it doesn't get mixed up with AMD Radeon Graphics yet again! With about RTX 4080 (Super) performance for half the price it could definitely cause some damage in that regard, especially if AMD can also improve on their DLSS competitor to bring it closer to NVidia's in terms of visual quality.

The last rumors I saw about RDNA4 claimed that none of them would be more powerful than the 7900XTX, so I don't think we'll see anything close to the 4080 Super, much less at half its price.
With that said, a 6800XT/7800XT-like card with the ray tracing improvements of the new architecture at around 350 $/€ would be something worth a look (but also unlikely).

RTX4000 series now over 20%... many PC upgrades in China for "Black Myth Wukong"?
It surely helped, but your own data suggests that Ada's percentage grows between 1 and 1.5 points every month. If it hadn't been in August, it would have reached that 20% in September.
