Forums - Nintendo - Wait what? Mario Tennis Aces looks like it's going to be an amazing game?

Aces will be the first Mario Tennis game I buy so you know Nintendo's done something right with the series! I only hope that the netcode is fixed, you can play doubles online with randoms, and that they add a ranked mode.

EDIT: Also needs more Technical characters. So far my only options are Peach and Toadette, so really only Peach.

Willing to bet Blooper is going to be a technical character. Speaking of Squids, I'd love to see the Inklings show up as free DLC eventually.

I was really hoping Blooper would be technical, but nah he's confirmed tricky. Still gonna try using him regularly anyway.

The best mario tennis game is the one that was on n64, this looks like it could better it.

My whole weekend is going to be dedicated to this game, can't wait for Fri. I was completely and utterly blown away but the Demo.

The first Mario Tennis game I'm interested in since the N64 and GBC games. The GBC version had a fun and challenging RPG mode that let you create a character and take it to the N64 version.

I'd say the ability to break your opponent's racket is by far the worst thing about the game. But yeah, it's gonna be a great game, I said that since they announced it.

Explain! I think racket breaking adds an extra layer of thought and strategy even if KOs rarely ever happen.
