Does anyone have more data? BKK2?

It's amazing how much is spent in the UK given it's population. It's very close to Japan even though it has less than half the population.

I think one game in UK will cost you between 80 and 100 $ (new)

how much in Japan ?

Finland total is software only (€80.8m), so that's misleading. Norway had similar software sales to Finland at €75m.

I'd also like to see 2007 figures for Canada as the ones I've seen before were only through November. A link to an annual report for Japan would be nice too, as I'd like to know how many software units were sold. I realise you didn't compile this list, though, so may not have this info.

I found the link for Canada in the neogaf thread, but notice US & Canadian figures include accessories, European figures don't, so it's not as direct a comparison as it's made out to be. I don't know what the Japanese figure includes.

UK is so high bc its currency exchange, this is showing actual value in terms of dollars not in size scope or penatration, that is implide but not an accurate picture. And someone asked this about Japan but so you all know games in japan often cost less than in the USA for like a new Wii game it isnt uncommon for its price to translate into 40 USD

"Like you know"

That fails to explain why UK is so high compared to other European countries too. Calculate it by GDP per capita and I'm sure UK would still be top of the list.
