This is a thread? Wii on its stand looks the best but I like the shiny blackness of the PS3. Now I'm off to my interior decorating class.

Aesthetically I like XBox 360 (despite its small measures being a problem for high power consumption systems) and Wii, I don't like PS3, it reminds me a Tefal grill
But IMVHO the best was the Slimline PS2.

I think all 3 look great this generation. The 360 looks better than the original Xbox, the PS3 better than the PS2, the Wii better than the Gamecube.

Wii is going for the Mac-type minimalist look. As a Mac user (one of the few on VGChartz, I'd wager to guess) I thus prefer the Wii. I'm a fan of miminalist art (a la Donald Judd) in general, though.

I feel like such looks are much better than hulking anti-art monstrosity look. The SNES had a great look too--kind of like Brutalist architecture done in plastic.

I share a 3-bedroom apartment with two roommates. We keep to ourselves, so my TV and consoles are in my room. Thus the Wii fits a lot better in the minimal space of my room much more than any other console would.

I'd say Wii>360>PS3. At least the 360 is going for design. The PS3 seems to me to just be a big hunk of plastic. Surely a design that allows more stacking or ability to fit in places would have been better, no?

Everyone thinks their favorite console looks the best? I can't believe my eyes!

I'd have to go with the Wii as my favorite looking console. It's glossy white finish and it's size are a definite plus, not to mention the blue LED light is a nice added effect.

The curves on both the 360 and PS3 actually bother me slightly since you can't add anything on top (Or at least, it's not a perfect fit. *sigh* Sometimes I'm too much of a perfectionist for these kinds of little things...). I guess they wanted their respective consoles to stand alone. Also the sheer size of the consoles isn't a plus (Or maybe it's how large they are compared to Wii...).

But I suppose I'd have to put the PS3 above the 360 in terms of looks. I'm a sucker for a glossy finish.

I think the Wii looks the best, closely followed by the PS3. The Xbox looks butt-ugly IMO.

For me, aesthetics have never been an important consideration when it comes to buying consoles.

They all look good in their own way

The ps3 has a nice sleek look, with gloss and a nice metal colour.

The Xbox 360 looks rough with it's matte look, and curves, and does the curve inwards then outwards.

The Wii looks very small and sleek, the blue compliments it hugely.

I'd say PS3>WII>360

I never have a dust problem either with the PS3... dusting the console might do the trick
