I highly doubt IO wanted to do things they way they were done with Hitman 2016 to begin with. The western arm of Square/Enix is notorious for doing naught but forcing it's stupid ideas into games they publish.

Is this a remake? There is many Hitman games released over the years including one with the name Hitman 2.

I think this franchise is overdue.

In addition to the brand new levels for Hitman 2, the game will also include all Hitman 1 levels updated with the new mechanics of the Hitman 2.



Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Does that mean the entire Hitman 1 game is in this game as well?  As in, I dont need to buy the first game because this game comes with it?

There seems to be a catch, these levels are only available if you own the first game... 

After digging a bit deeper, yeah, this is true. That means that the video comes off as misleading.
