Nintendo has gotten lazy in the past when dominating.

But I do agree. I could tell last year already that Sony was starting to become their cocky, arrogant selves a little. This year it was cemented.

Yeah, you're right about Nintendo as well. Who can forget about the Wii Music debacle? *shudders*

Seems to me that, if a person is a fan of one particular brand? They should almost hope that they DON'T succeed lol.

Yea, it's a rollercoaster. nobody likes to be doing shitty, but that moment when you can tell the ship is righting its course is always so awesome. Nintendo fans right now are currently on that ride back up. Microsoft seems to have reached the bottom of the hill and started going back up. I mean the only reason I have a One right now is for the 4k player, and almost kind of was embarrassed having the one with Microsofts comments about single player and so on. But this e3 made me proud to have it, even though I don't buy any games for it anyway.

Sony is, well you watched the conference. Won't be long until we hear some dumbass comment like "$699.00"

Microsoft just had a better conference than Sony...wow. Money isn't everything but it sure can buy you a stellar E3,

I've noticed a trend (outside of Nintendo) where whoever is dominating seems to get lazy over all. Not just at E3, but with everything.

Nintendo fits that trend as well. After the gargantuan success they had in the 7th generation with the DS and Wii being the top 2 selling systems of the generation, they came back with the 3DS, which stumbled out of the gate and took a massive price cut and big losses to get off the ground, and the Wii U which was a colossal failure.

It was a lazy conference but effective. I'm interested in 4  Sony exclusives. MS conference got me interested in 2 multiplats.

Eh, this has probably been said already, but I'll say it here.

Sony don't give a shit about E3, providing an entertaining conference hardly matters to them, as the PS4 will sell no matter what, and Sony has several events other than E3 to announce and discuss games. Microsoft can't really afford to do that, a lot of people have been stigmatizing the Xbox One in the past two years and they need to consistently deliver interesting conferences with a lot of third party support in order to maintain the fact that they are actually competing with Sony. Don't really know how to articulate it well, but, I guess you could say that for a monopolistic market...the actions provided by both companies seem natural for their positions. That said, Sony has officially lost touch with E3, thanks to those disconcerting comments by Shawn at the start and burning 30 minutes in the beginning.

Man.

Sonys conference was... just bad.

Death strand seem the worst game on the show.
Sorry ,kojima, i want to see the inovative game mechanics we expect from you. but we just saw a man walking...
3 years teasing for nothing. Seems all the hype of the game is based on the name of the developer, not in the game per se.
Biggest disapoint in sony conference.

Exactly, they don't need a good E3 so they don't make efforts towards it. A shame for those viewing it though. And beyond that, 2 of the 4 showings weren't that good. I was really hoping Ghosts Of Tsushima was a responsive traversal based game like Infamous or something. Turns out you probably can't jump and shit with the over the shoulder camera like every other Sony first party game. And of course Death Stranding showing was a disaster.

I wouldn't say it was bad, but it was definitely rough following all of the goodies MS announced with what essentially boiled down to Tsushima gameplay.

What a strange and.. just bad format. A weird long intermission at the beginning. It was relatively short too, it ended abruptly. Very little new was shown imo. Last of Us with no Joel. Death Stranding is too cryptic for me. Sure, Ghost of Tsushima looks amazing, but that is one game. I expected more, Azuren.

I did, too. I'm not saying I wasn't disappointed. But it wasn't as bad as EA.

Though they did give Bethesda a run for their money in regards to cringe.
