Sadly missed the conference. How was it guys?

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

I have seen every Sony E3, and this was by far the worst. We learned nothing of any importance, and they gave absolutely no direction for the future of the platform. I'm not even sure why they showed up.

The way they presented TLOUPII was disgusting, and in extreamly poor taste. Circle jerking around Naughty Dog, the Church references, it was incredibly smug. TLOU is my favorite game of all time, bar none. But, the way they are carrying themselves around this one makes me feel sick.

Ghost of Tsushima was the only highlight of the show for me. This game looks great in all departments. Sucker Punch has been delivering some of my favorite expereinces for the last few years, and it looks like they will keep the train rolling with this one.

As for Death Stranding, I think Kojima was trolling us with the walking simulator vibe (atleast I hope). It would be very typical of him to do something goofy like that. Still waiting to see more. The one issue with this was the lack of supporting material. If the conference had some thing that had blown me away, I would be all good Kojima's games, but when it needed to be a center piece, it just didn't work.

Spider-Man put me to sleep. I have it pre-ordered and I am a huge Insomniac fan, but at this point I just want it in my hands.

Then I have to mention Dreams. WTF? You're seriously going to tease us with Dreams between every video, then mention nothing about it. When is the beta coming? When is it releasing?

For me Sony started looking like Sony 2005 today. They are so far up their own ass right now, I am scared to see where they go from here. Microsoft layed out a beautiful vision for Software, Services, and Hardware yesterday. Today, Sony gave us absolutely nothing to get excited about on all three fronts. Yes they have stuff in the here and now, but what are their plans for the future. Why is PS Now not growing? Any new services coming to PSN (Name Changes? Increased/Improved Cloud integration?)? What is the future of this Platform/Ecoystem? Sony is giving me a vibe that their shit don't stink, and they can just ride this gen out. Not a good image, and not a good strategy. They should have the pedal to the metal right now, esuring they don't get steam rolled next gen with streaming tech, smartphones, and PC.

Absolutely agree with everything i highlighted.

That flute moment is going down as the Giant Enemy Crab moment of Gen 8.

LOL it sure is.

To me it was obvious that doing something like live music on a press conference should only be done on rare ocassions but since 2016 they have been doing it  every time, and it just got worse and worse, dont get me wrong the 2016 one was awesome, the 2017 was kinda meh (it didnt really needed to be there) and this one as you said is likely gonna be a meme like the giant enemy crab.

Dreams beta confirmed for this year during the post show. I guess chalk Dreams for 2019.

They should have put a trailer for the game with that announcement on the press conference...

Couldn't watch it.
Which games were announced?

Thx for help

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Awful E3 conference for Sony. Worst that I can remember. They knew they had little to show. Should have just done a video like Nintendo.

Please Watch/Share this video so it gets shown in Hollywood.

I forgot "Trover saves the universe" + "Concrete Genie" + "dreams" too.
*IF* Halo Infinity is a XB1 title, it ll be in 2020 or lateron.... like its really early in production.

Halo Infinity might be on X2, but so might Ghosts of Tsushima, Last of Us 2 and Death Stranding. I mean did any of those 3 get a single release YEAR?

I think Infinity will be Xbox One and Halo 6 will be Xbox Two. It's actually kind of obvious to me because we should have heard something about Halo 6 this year and instead, got a place holder game. 343 and Microsoft have both talked about Halo 6 so, I know its a thing.

Microsoft just had a better conference than Sony...wow. Money isn't everything but it sure can buy you a stellar E3,

I've noticed a trend (outside of Nintendo) where whoever is dominating seems to get lazy over all. Not just at E3, but with everything.

Nintendo has gotten lazy in the past when dominating.

But I do agree. I could tell last year already that Sony was starting to become their cocky, arrogant selves a little. This year it was cemented.

Yeah, you're right about Nintendo as well. Who can forget about the Wii Music debacle? *shudders*

Seems to me that, if a person is a fan of one particular brand? They should almost hope that they DON'T succeed lol.
