For me this was the worst round of 16 in a World Cup ever. Pure disappointment...

What makes you say that? Belgium Japan was a thriller, and Russia's upset over Spain was amazing, not to mention that England finally won on penalties. It seems like a pretty great round of 16 to me. What makes you not like it so much?

Yeah I've found this to be one of the best WCs I've watched only bad game was France/Denmark this WC has had everything tbh.

QF

France 2-1 Uruguay
Brazil 2-0 Belgium
Russia 1-1 Croatia (Croatia on Penalties)
England 2-1 Sweden

Never thought I'd see England win on penalties. Loved it but put through the emotional wringer.

Hope for a win on Saturday that is a bit easier on the nerves.

The matches we had so far were indeed very good there's no doubt about that. It's more of a personal problem for me because there is no team that I can fully cheer on moving forward. That's a first time for me in a World Cup. With the exception of Sweden all teams won that I didn't want to win. I guess that's how football works right? Glad that I didn't bet. lol

Anyway the World Cup is still awesome to watch and it's refreshing to see new teams in the quarter finals. I just feel disappointed that no team that I really cheered on made it to the quarter finals. ^^

Gareth Southgate's redemption arc dragged on a bit.

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

England’s path to the final is so easy now that it would take massive flops not to reach the grand finale.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

I hope one day a team from outside of Europe and South America can develop the talent Belgium has. They came from out of nowhere to being title contenders, why can't China?

They've had good teams before, in 1986 they finished 4th and it took Maradona to stop them it's nothing new for them they just had a quiet period like most teams do.
