I could be wrong but i thought there was some info on them building a new studio somewhat recently, that being said i want them to get another Japanese studio that can work on some JRPGs be it new IPs or any of their old ones (like LOD).

What a good idea :)
Maybe its time for a new JRPG from Sony? perphaps a new legend of the dragoon?

yes I agree with this as well
More studios is better, but I don't want they to do FPS

What they are doing is occasionally splitting up dev studios to work on different games at same time. I think there will be more of this going - ie the same studio working on 2 games at once.
Having said that sony do seem to have a knack of purchasing studios that do well (and closing those that are mediocre) so i dont rule it out.

Given how long development time is taking then yes, 1 more would be great!

Its not a studio in san diego just a new team to work on a 3rd person adventure game similar to uncharted. it could be uncharted who knows.
tho forza sells just fine and there is a lack of racing games. on a playstation platform twice size of xbox I don't see how a good racing game would do bad. even driveclub sold well and it was problomatic early on release |
Sony doesn't have a studio in San Diego, there can't be a new team if there is no studio there. This would be a new studio if true.
Yes obviously they will, Sony Computer interactive entertainment revenue not just come from hardware , but software and service live PS+ , PS now and games and also license.
If they can increase the games sales , there will be more portfolio to increase their production on gaming product. Their output has been great so far as console maker but they still cannot beat other ip maker in creating more games, but the quality so far also has been amazing.
SO i can see in PS5 era they will have another 3 or 4 more studio and more team.

I always forget MLB is an exclusive.
