Never really strayed close to anything like that. To be honest I see more fascistic alt-right stuff here, but that's probably because this site didn't have proper filters for a long time.

The subreddit I am talking about is basically just user submitted selfies of naked bodies. Usually solo and hiding their faces to keep private.

"The subreddit I am talking about is basically just user submitted selfies of naked bodies"

don't you think that its a bit problematic to access women's bodies without any one to one dialogue, getting to know them and relationship building first?

you're essentially reducing them down to be objects to be ogled when you do that

Are you saying that you want to tell women what they are allowed or not allowed to do with their own body?

Somebody is pulling a Kathy Newman.

They can do whatever they want with their own bodies. And it's not just women, there are men too. A naked picture from them is no different than a normal picture from them, they are just human bodies.

Unless the ratio of male to female bodies on display for public consumption is approximately equal, I'm going to have to disagree with this, I'm afraid. Women are reduced to our bodies several times more often than men are and as much has been found to discourage sympathy for women.

Nice, I've never seen it edited like that. Hopefully @Faelco can see from this video can realize how frustrating this can be and another soul can be saved. Thank God for Kathy Newman, a clear example we can point to now when someone doesn't understand strawman arguing.

I know perfectly what that is, I know the interview. I answered to o_O.Q like this on purpose. His answer was bullsh*t imagining thoughts in others' minds in my opinion, I answered in this same manner to ridicule it. I thought that you understood that and were joking about it. Sorry if that wasn't the case and I should have made my comments and sarcasm even more obvious.

no that's not what i'm saying

what i'm saying is that when a man chooses to consume women's bodies in such a way that there is no acknowledgement of their personalities that is objectification since it is rendering women down to objects suitable for sexual gratification only

as i have already described this results in sexual violence against women being increased dramatically

It's a lot more complicated than that. I would argue that advertising with sexualized women is much worse than a site that is meant to be sexual with a sexualized woman. Especially since none of these women are being coerced to do it with money or otherwise like one would with mainstream porn. Advertising affect children from the moment that they can see, porn sites won't be discovered by them until much later.

You're talking degrees, I'm talking the principle. I mean I agree with you about the difference that appears to be applicable here.
