this has set the bar so high, and then detroit is coming along... then spiderman. You can-imagine how bend studios feel with days gone and what kinda standards they have to hit. Then sucker ounch with GOT..... all the while TLOU2 is right around the corner. Then lets not forget death stranding.

There has to be a number of a 8/10 reviews to get it down by as much as two points. At this poont the worst it can do is drop back to 94.

If it wasn't for RDR2, this could be a big GOTY contender.

What I find the most impressive, is that there's not a single reviewer so far that doesn't like the game. Every game has that one reviewer that thought it was mediocre. But nope! Not the case here. Even the biggest grumps of the industry are enjoying this one. That's something that not even Nintendo has managed to accomplish over the decades. 

^ I agree with this. They seem to grade based on how much new ground a game breaks, instead of how fun it is. But they'll love GoW, because it moves the series forward in too many ways to count, and is on the cutting edge of graphics as far as PS4 goes.

And don't forget that despite GTA V releasing just a few months after The Last of Us in 2013, TLOU ended up taking the majority of the GOTY awards of that year.

No it doesn't, Horizon is the most beautfull console game out there up until now, it seens GoW will dethrone it.
