my guess has to be 8-9 mill 360 and 7 mill ps3

but mk is at 9-10mill

beats any 1 particular version but not combined no way

 Bolded part I differ on this view. There are indeed GTA fanatics who will indeed buy both PS3 and XBox 360 versions of GTA 4.

OMG!!!! I know there will be like 10 people who buy both versions because they like to waste money. But nowhere near enough people will buy both versions to have any effect on the sales of GTA4.

GTA 4 will sell more if you count combined sales obviously. MK Wii will sell more than GTA 4 on PS3 or 360.

I know that I will be buying GTA this month rather than MK. I still don't know if I am going to pick up MK in the future because of this. That being said GTA4 is definately going to outsell MK lifetime.

Over the long haul world wide

1. Mario Kart Wii 12-15 million
2. GTA IV (PS3) 7-9 million
3. GTA IV (360) 6-8 million

I don't think it's fair to combine different console versions and concider it the same games sales.

If Super Mario Galaxy has only sold 6.2 million so far, how is Mario Kart gonna sell 12 million?

I think that each version of GTA (PS3/X360) will outsell MK. I really don't know where you get your crazy numbers about MK.
