He's a feminist so of course he is. He cares more about equality of outcome than merit and ability. Rather than pick the most competent people for the job his cabinet is 50% women just because they're women so he can pat himself on the back and virtue signal. That was a complete abberation of power, these are the people running the country you have to choose the best people but not for him because being an SJW was more important than the welbeing of his country.

But looking explicitly at the thread title, we already expected this of him, so he isn't disappointing, he is just very bad.

I voted no, but not in a positive way. He has been exactly as advertised. The thing that has always puzzled me is why people voted for someone who was clearly an idiot and openly said he had no plans to balance the budget, ever , while campaigning. We have a democracy, but vote for the son of a previous leader with no qualifications beyond that. Humans are baffling.

Tell that to the Americans xD

Trudeau is a joke and is lucky that his dumb actions are only masked by their neighbor's leader who is a bigger joke.

I don’t even know if I can agree with that.  Trump is a PR nightmare and his executive team seems to be in complete disarray, but some of his actual policy work might have some value.  Trudeau has been an absolute disaster in his job.

My mom and sister told me he's dashing and cute, relatively well spoken, and on the left so apparently that instantly makes him a good politician and leader (yes, this is sadly the extent of like 80% of my fellow Americans' political knowledge and all it takes most of us to vote for someone. Was the same for Obama).

Not just picking on just the left - on the right it tends to be more of a "he seems like a straight shooter.. the type I'd like to have a beer with!"

So much truth in this.

No. This cannot be. He was given the mangina of the year award for 2017 afterall .

Does mangina over there means the same as in Brazil? (A man who is very submissive to woman in general in hope of being liked)

Yep. That's basic thought of it. A really big pussy or simp is also correct.

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

Perhaps brazil have imported the word them =] basically same meaning.

I instantly disregard the opinions and thoughts of anyone who uses 'SJW' as an insult.

If the very idea that someone cares enough about modern issues is enough for you to spew hatred towards them, maybe you're a terrible person.

SJWs automatically believe that anybody that disagrees with them is a bad person.

Blanket statements such as this that snuff out any nuance or subtlety are exactly why we can't have conversations about this sort of thing.

* Thread Announcement * 📣

I'm seeing posts that are crossing some lines, folks. I'm not ready to drop a Warning in here yet, so let's try to keep it civil. No need to refer to one another as 'bad' or 'terrible', for example.

Maybe a certain circle says that, but my circle is saying that we luckily don't have a pansy like trudeau. I think it all depends on where you get your info, but I belive in canada almost all your media is very left leaning unlike here on the US that we have fox and whatever else. I could be mistaken, I know very little of canada.

I know you probably don't know, but did you ever listened to TVA (Québec) ? Well, that's basically our FOX.

I never doubted that there was some right leaning media, What I should have asked is if its like the US where left and right media are about 50/50?

Since Im online only all I keep track off from canada is rebel media. I know they aren't particularly liked over there.

I see two contradictory portrayals: some people portray the left as sensitive people who need safe spaces but they're also somehow portrayed as violent people
