Better digital pricing especially first party
Cheaper PS plus or same price but make it more rewarding (extra reduction in digital purchases etc).

  1. Those mandatory installs are there for a reason. Running games off a HDD is infinitely faster than pulling data off a disc. An 8x Bluray drive has a speed of aroind 32MB/s. Vs a run off the mill 5200rpm mechanical HDD which will allow at least 150MB/s speeds. Lets not even mention SSDs. Think of it this way, remember the last time yoi looked at a load screen for say 30 secs? If they were not doomg mandatory installs that load screen will take 3mins.

I'd love it to basically do everything my PC can, minus the software that the console doesn't need (like a web browser, Word and other software).

Mod support would also be nice, and non filtered either.

Also, no paid online either. That's the one primary thing that stops me from wanting one.

Then they should get a faster speed, or use cartridges.

A boot screen. I thought of this a while back. Not sure if we're thinking the same thing but what if you could boot up your PlayStation as PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4 and PS5. Or Sony should just make their own retro console that can play at least PS1 through PS3 games.
