I'm glad Ubisoft keeps its independence. Out of the big three western publishers, Ubisoft is the one most willing to take risks (not much, still more than Activision and EA), so it's good to have them around without even more corporate strings.

Tencent (who bought part of Vivendi's shares) aren't an extra corporate string?

Of course they are, but it's better than having Tencent AND Vivendi. Two monstruous corporations would've teared Ubisoft in half eventually.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Not really a fan of ubisoft, but I'm not exactly thrilled either.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

Don’t like them much as a publisher or developer, but I’m all for minimizing the presence of mega conglomerates like Vivendi. So yay.

Good news for Ubisoft

Partnering with Tencent would be interesting though

Anyone is better than Vivendi.

Excellent! Ubisoft's far from being in graces with many, including me, but Vivendi being shoved out of the way means they can't ruin a good developer from within.
