Of course they are, but it's better than having Tencent AND Vivendi. Two monstruous corporations would've teared Ubisoft in half eventually.

Not really a fan of ubisoft, but I'm not exactly thrilled either.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
Don’t like them much as a publisher or developer, but I’m all for minimizing the presence of mega conglomerates like Vivendi. So yay.
Good news for Ubisoft
Partnering with Tencent would be interesting though

Excellent! Ubisoft's far from being in graces with many, including me, but Vivendi being shoved out of the way means they can't ruin a good developer from within.
