It's just a pre-download code ... nobody is playing it earlier than the rest. Otherwise, this bundle would have been long gone xD

Although technically no game comes with the bundle when released since you can only download Smash a month later, it still comes with the bundle. Would be funny if Smash appears on October NPD game bestseller list despite the game releasing only in December...

The game is not available early, as is clearly stated on the box and in the bundle description.

Ok, I didn't know. I thought I read somewhere of some period of early access for the bundles.

No, October. The Smash bundle releases November 2nd, which is part of October NPD. Hence why I think Switch will trash the competition in October in US sales.

Game will still be released on December in any case, and October is very strong for big 3rd party games for PS4, I would be very surprised if Switch takes October.

Smash bundle costs $360, not $400

Considering the high pre-orders for especially Smash and Red Dead 2 last month and the great release schedule for all consoles we should probably see pretty great numbers this month.

As for the remaining months of the year the only slamdunk win is Switch in December... whoever takes November and October are still hard to tell even though it looks like the Switch is off to a good start looking at the charts. All systems have high profile bundles both months.
