Woah, where did this Xbox lead over PS4 come from? Am I missing some big promotion or marketing deal? I mean, that’s massive change compared to all previous months.

Also, why the Switch increase?

Apparently PS4 Pro has had moderate shortages lately which could be affecting the accuracy of its placement on the chart.

As for Switch, it had a pretty stacked lineup ever since E3 (Fortnite, Paladins, Hollow Knight, Octo Expansion, Mario Tennis, Minecraft, Ys VIII, Lego Incredibles, Donkey Kong Adventure, Crash Bandicoot, Wolfenstein, Shining Resonance, Captain Toad, Octopath Traveler, Sonic Mania Plus, Mega Man X Collection, Go Vacation).

PS4 Pro is completely sold out online so there is one less SKU on all online retailers used by OP tool. 

I suppose i should look at the individual retailer charts rather than just the graph at the bottom.

I wonder if this will affect sales in July/Aug, i assume they will try to have this straightened out by the time Spider Man releases.

I think in many ways there is a good reason for Switch probably winning July and August. Such a fantastic bit of kit for your holidays, to be sat gaming next to the pool with an ice cold drink. Shutting the kids up on the journey too, is just win-win.

Those are the winning numbers from the prediction thread on ResetEra.

XBO was up 100% YoY in terms of revenue but the X model being $500 and not available last year means that unit sales will be a good deal lower than 100%. If these numbers are close to accurate than thats a ~60% YoY increase in unit sales.
