Benji on era said he's seen different things for October and isn't sure on the ranking. So October is up for grabs for anyone.
Also this November is going to be huge. This year it includes the week after black Friday which includes cyber monday. And the PS4 $199 deals start a few days before black friday.

Switch definitely seems poised to have a better November than last year with Pokemon and all the various bundles. Beating a $199 PS4 bundled with Superman might be a tough task though. November all depends on how much stock Sony provides for BF. 

Yeah I agree with this, I think Switch will do better this year. It all depends as you say how much stock Sony decide to provide, that will make the difference. Last year they could have sold tons more but didn't and still won, with a stonger Nintendo this year, if they cut corners in numbers (as in restrict it to limit costs) then they won't win.

It all depends if Nintendo’s ready to sell Mario Kart 8 Deluxe basically for free. They may find that there’s still potential for more sales from the game. Treat it as the Wii Sports for Switch?

Hopefully they bundle MK8D throughout the remainder of Q3, Smash + Switch + MK8D makes a pretty good Christmas gift for $360.

A Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle is likely to become a standard. They've done it with the Wii U and 3DS so I don't know why they wouldn't for Switch.
