There's just one problem:

Switch pretty much released with the TWO best games it's ever going to have, right out of the gate. BOTW AND Mario Odyssey!!! So basically, it should be selling at its best right now unlike the PS4 which did awesome numbers with nothing out on it. A Sony console has NEVER released out of the gate with its TOP AAA franchises. 

Those arent the 2 biggest nintendo games im sorry. In terms of system sellers there are at least 3 more games that sell systems better than those 2

Rick has a point. Compared to the PS4 an XBO switch is losing momentum. Nintendo needs to react quick before Switch becomes Wii U 2.0 imo.

LMAO wiiu 2 is never gonna happen, come on. 3ds 2.0 is likely though.

I'm not saying that. All 3 systems achieve high sales for a February. But you have to bear in mind that the 2018 line-up for Switch is mostly ports so far : sales are likely to weaken at some point, especially compared to PS4 which has lots of major titles not coming to Switch (MHW, Far Cry 5, Yakuza 6, Shadow of the TR, Black Ops IIII, etc.).

So only Wii sold better than Switch in first February, while we here have narrative like Switch sold less than 100k. :D

While you are posting facts, don’t forget to mention that the Switch is also the cheapest console since the Wii. Also, don’t forget to add that the PS4 was still supply constrained.

Age doesn't matter much until the next generation really starts to hit.

After 4 years the PS4 is at around 25 Million units in America as the generation leader. The 360 and Wii both managed to hit close to 50 Million, the PS2 and DS managed to sit pretty around ~55 Million. The PS4 has the potential to at least double what it's already done.

In terms of age, the PS4 isn't that old. Wait until y'all see what it does at $250 and $199.

That’s not true. The 7th gen was unusually long with the 360’s sales being boosted by the RRoD. The PS2 peaked in its 3rd year, for example, so a new generation doesn’t have to start for a console’s sales to start slowing down.
